Oil on linen
Class 1: We start from scratch, showing you the different materials you can use. We dye the base with aniline on linen or cotton canvas, and I'll teach you how to prepare it so you're ready to start painting.
Class 2: We look at acrylic bases, the structure of the piece, and the type of paint we'll be working with. We also learn bleaching techniques.
Class 3: We dive into the world of oil paint and look at how to start working with this technique.
Class 4: More detail work — we use oil pastel and gold leaf to create focal points.
Class 5: How to finish and present the piece for hanging.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take the course using only acrylics, without oil paint? — Yes, you can replace the oil paint with acrylics, although the result is richer when you combine different materials.
What materials do I need? — Attached to the course is a guide with all the materials you'll need to complete the piece. The essentials are: cotton or linen canvas, turpentine, oil paint, acrylic paint, brushes, and oil pastel. Optional: gold leaf, glue, and bleach.
Do I need previous experience? — No. The course walks through my technique from start to finish. Even though we use a variety of materials, they're approached in an experimental way and explained step by step, with no prior knowledge required.
