Every culture carries a longing for a lost paradise: some have called it the Belle Époque, the Golden Age, the Divine Comedy, or Eden. It is always a garden of delights, filled with trees, fruit, and the scent of flowers — a wonderful, unknown land, full of beings that turn the imagined into the real. An oasis where an eternal spring is born, where only time spent in delight counts as happy time. Where the senses are dazzled by the sublime, by nature, by beauty.

We are metamorphosis. We turn images into stories, and illustrate our minds with scenes from tales. Siembra is a living botanical garden that envelops us and carries us to a wonderland born of our own fervent imagination.

From these walls blooms the spring conceived by Catalina and Martina — a spring that grows from everyday elements, with seeds contributed by twenty-one collaborators who, throughout this year, have woven themselves into these works full of life, into this paradise called Siembra.

A paradise has no beginning and no end. There is no set path. There is no single story. It is a universe of stories belonging to everyone who visits it, and to everyone who built it.

As we step into Siembra, let us also live the eternity of everyday reality transmuted into Eden, and leave our own story behind, for always.
