Yutori is a Japanese term that translates as space, leeway, or breathing room. That is precisely where I found myself between 2022 and 2025: in transition, taking that leeway to understand where my work was headed

It was a period of incorporating new palettes and forms, of daring to infuse those ethereal canvases from De Raíz with more information, color, and complexity. When I think of Yutori, I see myself traveling from De Raíz toward what would later become my Anthurium series—a bridge, a space, a necessary transition between both worlds.
